“I don't know what it is about mountain air, but I had some of the best sleep of my life here at this place. Service was absolutely outstanding. The owners and their family did an amazing job of making sure you feel like a part of their family.”

“Charming place to stay. 14 inch walls, built in 1863. Ceiling in my room must be 14 ft tall. Nice family style breakfast included. No TV. Showers are nice ... plenty of hot water.”

“It was a great experience staying at the Veranda. Our room was ready with a key and homemade cookies when we arrived. The owners were nice and enjoyed breakfast the next morning.”

“We love this place! You are greeted with yummy, fresh baked treats upon entrance. Wonderful front porch to relax on and look at the night sky. Excellent breakfast made by Eleanor and good conversation with other guests, the owner and Eleanor!! Great coffee available 24/7 and available to buy. The Main Street is within easy walking distance. Highly recommend!”

“We had a reservation here so we could attend a wedding, but due to personal matters, we had to make a late change of plans and cancel. The owner was very professional and polite, and excused us, even though we were too late to cancel according to their policy. In my book, this speaks very well about the professional ethics and standards of the owner, and we definitely plan to stay here next chance we get to be in God's country.”
